You see sheer cliffs and crashing waves, and a traditional dance performance is often held in the evening. A visit usually takes 1.5-2 hours. It suits couples and families. Go at sunset and wear clothing that covers the knees; monkeys may grab sunglasses and small items, so be careful.
MapTanah Lot Temple
Tanah Lot is a Balinese temple on a rock in the sea, strikingly framed by the waves. You walk along the coast, explore the area around the temple and take photos. One and a half to two hours is usually enough. It suits couples and families. Sunset is the most beautiful time but also the busiest; at high tide access near the temple may be limited, so wear comfortable shoes.

Ubud is the heart of Balinese culture, with rice terraces, artists' studios, temples, forest and craft shops. You wander around, see local art and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The excursion usually takes half a day to a full day. It suits families, couples and culture lovers. Bring light clothes and comfortable shoes; mornings are cooler and afternoon rain is possible.
MapTegallalang Rice Terrace
Tegallalang is a famous area of terraced rice fields near Ubud, with green steps spreading across a hillside. You walk among the terraces and take photos, and some spots offer fun extras such as swings. One to one and a half hours is usually enough. It suits couples and families. Go in the morning for fewer people and lovely light, and wear sturdy shoes for slippery paths.
MapMonkey Forest
The Monkey Forest is a sacred forest sanctuary in Ubud, home to temples, statues and many monkeys. You stroll shaded paths and watch the animals up close. One to one and a half hours is usually enough. It suits families and couples. Be careful with the monkeys: hide food, sunglasses and phones, and do not touch them or stare at them. Closed shoes and light clothing work well.

Two to three hours or half a day is usually enough. It suits young travellers, families and couples. Waves can be strong, so swim carefully; bring sunscreen and a hat and go close to sunset.
