What a Dubai tour costs and what the price depends on

A tour price is the flight, the hotel, transfers and insurance. Tashkent to Dubai is a short hop, so the flight is a smaller share than on long-haul trips: the HOTEL makes the difference.

That is why choosing the right hotel saves the most in Dubai. Two hotels with the same star rating can cost very differently — one sits on the beach, the other in the city.

Meals count too. Many Dubai hotels are sold with breakfast only: eating out is easy, but plan that part of the budget in advance.

A beachfront hotel costs more but puts the beach at your door. A city hotel is cheaper, but you take a taxi to the beach — count two rides a day and the gap narrows.

There is a third option: a city hotel’s free beach shuttle. Ask in advance — not every hotel runs one, and it does not run all day.

With a family, the trip to the beach decides the quality of the holiday: waiting for a taxi every day in the heat with a small child wears you down.

Winter brings the nicest weather and therefore the highest prices. New Year and school holidays are the peak.

Summer is very hot, but prices drop and hotels are empty. For people who spend their days in malls and water parks it is a good deal.

Spring and autumn sit in between: hot but bearable, at prices below winter levels.

One more thing: when a big exhibition or event is in town, hotels rise for those dates. Shifting by a week often helps.

Excursions and parks: desert safari, observation decks, water parks — none of that is in the tour price.

Many hotels charge a city fee, paid on site. Your operator will name the exact amount for your hotel.

Taxis and the metro are cheap, but walking in the heat is hard — budget for daily transport too.
